How to make an Animated Video?

Here's our step by step process explaining how to make an Animated Video.


Chinwag

It's good to talk and we start with an initial conversation. Let's use the tech to discuss your needs, Zoom | Skype | Teams | WhatsApp | FaceTime | Facebook | Phone, whatever your preference. What's your idea / goal? We can discuss timescales, rates and our process.


Style Sheet

We ask you to share some of your thoughts, likes and dislikes. From experience it's best to start with your spark of an idea, so quickly scribble down some of the things you love. You'll have a good idea of what your audience likes, and if not, we can guide you.


Script Writing

This is the most important step. We ask you to script out what you want to say, we'll work closely with you to refine. What's your key message, what tone, the language you need? Once you approve the script, we can commence the next phase, but not before then.


Story Boarding

Here we map out the direction of the video. Initial ideas mapped out against the script, from your style sheet ideas. We sketch out the look and feel, draft scenes to give a flavour of the end result. Pencils, rubbers, and some snazzy software at the ready!

Alpha Version

The first phase of our production, we create an Alpha version, a Rough Cut if you like. Not all the bells and whistles, but a version for you to visualise

β
Beta Version

The second phase of our production, we create a Beta version, ironing out the tweaks, final amends ahead of us going full scale in our final stage. Speak now or forever hold thy peace, there's no going back!


Gold Version

Gold. Gold, always believe in your soul, you got a brand new videoooo! Sorry, but we're excited. We get to hand over the Final Cut to you. Take your video with our blessing, use it wisely, or however, it's your video!
